"Have you ever installed a new ink cartridge in your printer only for it to immediately dump half of the ink inside printing thick black blocks and random lines? I think this is like that. I had a rather austere childhood, either because of deprivation or else superstitious anti-materialism. The past persists into the present and even to this day I find myself reeling and tripping over myself any time I indulge too much. I'm just not used to it.
