The Well

Poetry by Vera Mkhsian

In a realm where dreams entwine with starlight's gentle swell,
Beneath the moon's soft glow, there lies a wishing well.
A vessel of whispers, where desires softly dwell,
In the heart of sacred silence, where miracles may swell.

Upon the stone-rimmed edge, where wishes take their flight,
A dance of hope and magic in the soft embrace of night.
The water's surface shimmers, reflecting dreams so bright,
A canvas for the soul, where yearning takes its flight.

A coin of earnest longing, cast into the depths below,
Ripples of intention, like love's sweet afterglow.
The echoes of a wish, a melody in the cosmic flow,
In the well of sacred yearning, where aspirations grow.

Oh, ancient fountain, keeper of soulful sighs,
Witness to the seekers with hope in their eyes.
Grant us visions of the heart, beneath the open skies,
In the sanctum of our dreams, where the spirit never lies.

Let each wish be like a torch, guiding through the night,
Igniting the path of destiny, leaving a trace of your eyes.
May the waters of the well speak, in a language pure and soft,
Of the unity of souls, dancing in a quiet park in our heads.

As we stand beside this well, with reverence and plea,
May devine timing conspire, in sweet serendipity.
In the alchemy of wishes, where intention meets fantasy,
A spiritual symphony, running through eternity.

So let us dream together, under the wishing well's embrace,
As one with the sky, boundless and full of grace.
In the of existence of our love, each wish a sacred trace,
Written in the stardust of this enchanted realm we call our embrace.
